Abhishek Bachchan is back to work after a day off for Aishwarya’s baby shower and the soon-to-be father thanked all for their blessings and good wishes.
"Good morning everyone. Thank you so much for all the wishes for Aishwarya on her godh bharai. Read out some of your messages to her," tweeted the actor who is busy wrapping up Players.
He tweeted about yesterday’s ‘Godh Bharai’ ceremony, "So after a day filled with tradition, Indian customs and LADIES It's back to work. Gotta start PLAYING again for PLAYERS!"
A grand ‘Godh Bharai’ was held at Jalsa yesterday and well known celebrities attended the ceremony and blessed Aishwarya. Soon to become mother dressed in a traditional orange attire and was looking awesome. "Aishwarya was looking like a chand ka tukda. She was looking beautiful. We wish Abhishek and Aishwarya all the best," Saira Banu, who gifted Aishwarya a gold coin, said.
"I have never seen so many celebrity women together. All the women went up to Aishwarya and blessed her. Jayaji received each guest personally and was very warm. Even her daughter, Shweta, gave personal attention to everyone. There were a lot of songs and celebration," said Saroj Khan.
The veteran choreographer praised Abhishek too who wore a white sherwani-style kurta. "Aishwarya looked pretty in orange. Her face had such a glow. She was decorated with mogra flowers. Even Abhishek looked extremely happy. God bless them both and may the child have a long life," she added.
The AB baby is due in November and the Bachchan family is set to welcome the new arrival.
