ABS 2 & Athena-Fidus (Ariane VA217) launch schedules January
Ariane VA217 mission with ABS 2 and ATHENA-FIDUS satellites is moved ahead of Ariane VA216. Ariane VA217 is scheduled for 23 January 2014. Both satellites arrived in Kourou and began launch preparations.

Satellite launch "ABS-2" postponed to February this year.

Approximately launch will take place in early February. The exact launch date will be announced soon.

Designated Flight VA217, the Ariane 5 mission with the ABS-2 spacecraft and French-Italian Athena-Fidus satellite is scheduled to liftoff now for February 6 at 5:30 pm local time in French Guiana.
