Yes Brother the update happened while we are watching channels is automatic update. It is happened because of the stb is wait user mode in last few days. If our stb is wait user mode in the last couple of days it will update automatically.In my opinion that is the perfect method for update software.It showes the stb has no problem in the s/w updation and the stb is working perfectly.

Please check:-
AV receiver or Home theater without dd+ decoder & if we select hdmi-dd+ as out put then the audio is backward compatible or not
Please share your experience who is having Home theater with only dolby digital
(ie no dd+ in htib, but hdmi in available)
