please help me i have technicolor hd stb release no 502 but dd audio not comming through hdmi. only zee hd channels audio come other hd mute when i change audio sterio through hdmi all hd channels audio ok.

Are you using home theater system with dolby digital plus decoder for the sound?
If your TV don't have dd/dd+ decoder then you have to select stereo for the sound.

DD+ is an advance sound codec.
If your tv having that codec then only you will get that sound, other wise select dd or stereo.
I think your tv don't have Dolby digital plus

I have a Yamaha YHT-196 Home Theatre and I am not getting audio from HDMI. Tried all stereo, DD & DD+. No audio. Previously I used SPDIF and it worked fine. Is the change instantenous i.e when you save the settings on Airtel, does the sound come instantly ? What about other channels like SAB TV ? Do they output only Stereo from HDMI ?

Yamaha YHT-196 not supporting Dolby digital plus.
It will support Dolby digital & dts

My Home cast HD DVR is still stuck with 457.. any luck from your end?
