As per totally unreliable and untrustworthy source, Airtel is sending reminders for recovering suspended boxes so that when the deal is completed, all these Tata Play+ HD DVR and binge boxes will be replaced with recovered boxes.

Airtel please dont buy tata play, tata play is much better on its own 🤣

Not possible, after official announcement the deal will take around 1-1.5 years (Minimum) to complete. I think they are talking about SES-7 to SES-9 migration.
Not Possible?

What If Satellite Expired By That Time?

Not Possible?
Yes, mostly not possible. Mergers and acquisitions are very sensitive and can be cancelled at any time. We saw in Zee-Sony case, the merger was terminated after CCI approval. Basically companies don't trust each other until the final completion announcement.

What If Satellite Expired By That Time?
That's why I am saying they might talking about SES-7 to SES-9 Migration.

When an Airtel expert visits Tata Play users to recover the set-up box

Definitely not about ses9, as dealers will do nothing in migration part. They have to work, if airtel moves towards Gsat only.

😂 Lol, No Migration Required Between SES 7&9, As It's In Same Degree!

Please Do Some Research Before Posting Here!

Also Do You Know How Many Transponders Available On SES 9 Indian Beam?

What will happen to tata play boxes if migration is done post deal closure?

Channels will be moved to the new transponder, so this can also be called migration like Tata Play did with GSAT-24 few years ago.

As per flysat, enough South Asian beam TPs available on SES-9.
