@Vadirocks bro, now I am hearing from my source that Airtel will be doing some setting on both Airtel & Tata users STBs starting from next month. It looks like there's some progress on the deal. You should try getting some details about it.

Atleast airtel wants to give new software update for tata play for UI change , tata play using same ui from launch
i think they are waiting for approval after approval will announceone question ,
currently airtel supplying xstresm dth STB with airtel black combo plan.
so after annoucment or merger
can existing TP customer with airtel postpaid/fiber will able to move to black plan

I have certain doubts. Post merger whether following features enjoyed by Tata play customers will be available?? Experts please share your thoughts
1. Whether live tv through webpage as well as mobile app will be available ?
2. Currently Tata play provides more number of channels whereas Airtel has much lower number of HD & SD channels. What will be the future scenario?
3. Tata play allows customers to easily curate the ala carte & bouquet packs by add or remove option at any time after recharge is activated
4. Whether box, remote & dish antenna has to be replaced with that of Airtel ?
5. Some Airtel customers complaint that if the customer fail to recharge after plan expires, then the technician may remove all the devices & antenna of the customers (say after 1 or 2 months post expiry of active plan). However in Tata play even if the account is not active for more than 5-6 months they won't remove the devices of customer
