Monopoly is not good...i fear all jingalala offers will stop in tataplay after the merger because we know airtel

The talks were initiated as a acquisition but now it's moving towards merger. Seems like shareholders of Tata Play didn't agreed.
Acquisition in DTH/broadcasting industry with losses is not easy as more people are move to DDFD or Airfiber-OTT.

If airtel and tata play provide good service with low price without cutting tata play features.. they kill dish tv easily
But I am seeing positive effect on DishTV and Sun Direct. Some users might leave Airtel-Tata Play due to change in philosophy and Strategies of Companies like implementation of 30 Day Lock-in period, no Jingala offers etc.
Competitors should be ready to grab oppertunities.

NCF can increase to Rs.200+gst in the name of quality after merger by next year, If TP or Airtel viewers can add Airtel airfiber/fiber for Rs.825/-(699+gst), then they will benefit for Rs.413/- (350+gst) worth of DTH money.

As per various news articles today,Airtel and Tata will form a joint venture with Airtel 55% and Tata 45% shares..Also chances of 50-50 %(Not likely as airtel wants control)
Also it will be a Non-Binding deal
