We have already discussed a lot about 30 day lock policy for a-la-carte channels implemented by airtel digital tv alongwith possible reasons for the same. I am of the opinion that this may be some kind of combined decision taken by operators and will get implemented on other DTH Platforms too in coming future or as i have stated in earlier posts that this can be a temporary step taken by airtel to ease of load on server/system in absence of broadcaster bouquets thus making customers often drop/add standalone channels. Even i am in favour of not having 30 day lock in policy for bouquets or channels.

UDP packs r basic starter DPO pack and not in any way a high end pack, even there r host of other mid level discounted DPO packs which r again subscribed by majority of audience and provides all popular. High end packs r the ones which include popular as well as niche channels like Mega Pack and discounts r provided on it too. As i have mentioned earlier that mass oriented packs will always be more discounted as compared to niche offerings bcoz of simple reason that niche subscribers r considered to have somewhat more purchasing power which helps scale up ARPU for the operator.

Add On Packs / Top Ups can be created by operators by combining a-la-carte channels and broadcaster bouquet cannot be included in it. Already explained in above posts why discount is not provided on the same. None of the operators provide any discount on such add on packs, if there is discount provided then it will be minimal
Bro, I think the problem is you are not reading what I have written and just writing what's in your mind repeating the same thing again and again. I expect you to read properly and give an appropriate, relevant and to the point reply please.

I too hope so buddy. As i have been saying since long that lot of changes and steps r likely to be implemented soon on Airtel Digital TV Platform. Let us wait n watch. Backend work has been ongoing since last 7 or 8 months, bcoz of efforts to adhere with new amended NTO 2.0 regulations Team Airtel Digital TV would be lot busy hence other pending things would have gotten little delayed but next month i expect all of it be gradually completed and brought into effect on the platform
I will save this Post for next month follow up then 😅🙏🫠

I have read and answered accordingly. Infact buddy u r repeatedly asking the same questions in different words which is why i am explaining to u that please read what i have stated and will understand what i am trying to convey.

Airtel Digital TV does provide wide variety of Add On Packs / Top Ups just like other operators and more will b added in near future.

UDP is a basic / starter DPO pack and not in any way a mid range packs. Yes, it is available only in Long Duration 6 or 12 month variant but still extremely cost effective . Airtel Digital TV does provide many such monthly basic / starter packs too, these r region/state specific as well as account specific so all of such DPO packs may not be visible to all....u may download the bouquet list from Consumer Corner section on Airtel Website or App to know details of all DPO packs or connect with customer desk to enquire on the same...some may also b visible under bouquet section on the app. I can give u an example of such pack which is called Dabang Pack it includes around 105 channels and costed just around Rs. 200 or so....there r various such packs available . Dabbang pack includes Hind GEC, News, Movies, Few Kids and Infotainment channels and some sports channels ....u can check the channel list on the forum or airtel website / app if it is still available. Previously it included just 89 channels but then Airtel Digital TV included more channels in it and even decreased its price

That's because you are not giving an appropriate response. You are not answering the question that is asked. Instead, you are answering your own assumed questions.

This is what I asked. We'll see in the future and stop here.

I didn't ask any of these.

I am answering based on ur queries. Nothing is out of context buddy. U asked it many number of times not understanding what i wrote.

Airtel Digital TV has been providing many curated Add On Packs or Top Ups for a very long time, so it is not something new. Maybe u did not notice the same earlier on. More new Add On Packs will get added not only on Airtel Digital TV but other platforms too. U still did not provide me with example how u said Airtel is lacking behind in this regard or whether other operators provide any such special Add On Packs which Airtel Digital TV does not offer .

Lastly u urself said that that Airtel Digital TV does not provide Starter/Basic DPO packs at discounted price, i have stated with example and great detail that they do provide such DPO packs which offer many channels and cost quite less. Also i have cleared it out that UDP Plans by Airtel Digital TV fall under basic/starter DPO packs category and not under Mid Level Pack range.

You urself ask questions, then seem to not read the answer provided and then tell that u have not asked the concerned question or i have not answered it. Buddy take a deep breath and go thru the above posts again so as to clear out ur confusion and properly understand what has been stated by me :)

This conversation is going on a different direction from 1st day of the thread only.

TBH I m ignoring all these LONG (kind of fight) messages like Katrina Kaif ignores me 🙏🏼😂

Wrong. Otherwise this issue would not have raised in the first place.
U still did not provide me with example how u said Airtel is lacking behind in this regard or whether other operators provide any such special Add On Packs which Airtel Digital TV does not offer .
For example, Sun Direct used to offer all sports HD channels for 100rs

I never said this. Please quote the message. I only said they don't give discounts in mega packs. UDP is not a mega pack So your UDP answer is irrelevant, out of context. You clearly don't read the messages.
Nothing is out of context
if u r enrolled under Airtel Black then there is just 10 or 15% of the actual NCF amount applicable for a DPO bouquet charged to a customer
still around 50% discount on NCF is given
Why did you bring Airtel black ?

Airtel Digital TV has extremely good affordable new connection or secondary connection or upgrade offers which r again heavily discounted and offer free subscription of DPO packs/bouquets as well as complimentary OTT subscriptions
Why did you talk about new and secondary connection?
All of the above are clearly out of context and you should have talked only about curated mini packs and discounts on mega packs, if you think they provide good discount on them. You delete all the irrelevant things and see. There is nothing relevant but this "more will b added in near future"

Buddy u r again confusing youselves. Anyways i am not continuing this discussion further, u and others can read the posts above and themselves see what was asked and what i replied. Airtel Black and new/secondary connection offers or upgrade offerd related information was not asked by u but in way related to the topic hence i mentioned the same.

Even I am not planning to continue it. Good that you understood what you did.
