Airtel HD STB software updated and STB Menu changed

I hav tried connecting my 80gb abd 160gb hdd even formatted it through the stb 2 times but when i tried to record it gave me an error "Recorder Functionality is not enabled please contact customer care"

:( pls tell me what we can do more
 
^^^ After reading your post , its clear that recording option is not activated by ADTV.
Ask CC for more..... :)

I have also called the cc. they told me to hold the call for upto 15min after tht they asked my stb id and they told me that your stb is just HD not HD-DVR so u are not able to record the TV programs :(
tell me if anyone have any other ideas for recording any hacking stuff will be appreciated :c

its clear tht this feature only for dvr users not for hd users i guess (hope its completely wrong but the sad truth :( )
 
Damn then, Bad move by ADTV. other customers feel like being left out, uncared for ! :(
