Social media and escalation team are correct.. price is 2249 for upgrade and need to wait for a week to place an order for it..

XStream Box or XStream smart stick can't compete with Amazon Fire Stick if they provide Prime Video on these devices as a mere Android TV App. The experience one gets watching Prime Video on Fire Stick is totally different. It integrates seamlessly with the overall experience and the controls are exceptional with excellent audio quality. All these factors must be considered too before we can say that Airtel came up with devices that can replace Fire Stick!

AFAIK the xstream box is netflix and prime certified and hence has dedicated launch buttons on the remote. I don’t know if there is any reason to believe that audio quality or picture quality would be compromised taking into consideration that the box is developed by technicolor. There are a lot of other things like HDR support for 4K tv’s which firestick 4k has.
The box is useless for a current or future 4k tv consumer if there is no HDR support.
Only after a demo we will able to conclude.

I think some upgrade in Xtreme other than OS version ie. Quad core processor in Xtreme box, but in Internet box was Dual core processor.

The Xstream too has dual core CPU in it, not Quad-core as per the specifications posted by ANdroid Authority : Android TV Guide - Airtel - Xstream Box
