only one drawback with these xstream devices. customer has to pay dth, broadband bill separately, along with subscription charges. where as jio gives all together without any extra cost. jiotv provides more no.of channels. still airtel is struggling to expand their broadband lines in big cities.

JIO Tv provides more number of channels is an advantage ,but as of now internet speed is poor in JIO fiber. Many ppl have reported that they get around 30Mbps d/L with ping around ~50ms , both in black as well as white modems. If you play high end online games in PC, PING is an important factor for lagfree experience. In Airtel BB i am getting around ~6-10 PING. So many ppl in metro cities who already have a reliable Premium Broadband connection will be reluctant to switch to JIO.
JIO might become a hit in Tier2 cities and villages.

I think some upgrade in Xtreme other than OS version ie. Quad core processor in Xtreme box, but in Internet box was Dual core processor.

What about Audio out ports? The box should contain Coaxial or Optical out ports to connect to HT for 5.1 surround. Otherwise there will be no difference between the box and the stick.

Game is simple here now as far as OTT is concerned. Airtel and jio have to make sure their all devices are optimized and run like charm and also their respective content sites should be as good as prime if not netfilx otherwise fire tv still will continue to dominate the market as consumer easily can go for free route on OTT if he faces any issues here as he is already using internet anyway. Both Airtel and Jio are lucky as they are telecom operators as well and internet providers but best of luck to rest now!!
