Yeah... But only in north zee produces own original serials! Zee channels of Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil flooded with remakes same as Star!

Now Colors has started the remake trend in south it seems !

They remade 2 Kannada shows in Tamil , Choti Sardarni in Tamil, one Marathi show in Tamil and Kannada!

But Sun TV is the only channel which shows 14/15 serials and mostly all of them are successful but their non fiction are not good as star vijay or zee tamil. It's my opinion.

In Tamilnadu, Sun TV is like a fixed thing!
Star Vijay and Zee Tamil have worked very hard to break that!

Previously before 2016 and 2017, SunTV's 5 primetime serials would be getting 10,000k impressions,or atleast 4 serials would be achieving this, but now not even one serial is achieving 10,000k impressions ! The viewership in every slot is splitup by Star and Zee,especially by Zee!

Jeev Zala Yedapisa remade as

Jeev Jhala Yedapisa serial was their no. 1 Marathi serial before lockdown but now its not going well. This serial s related to us people from Pune and South MH people from our side watched this serial and Colors Marathi channel but now all of us shifted to Star Pravah which relates to us and also has good content then Colors Marathi that's why I think Colors Marathi has less Viewership.

There are many Serials on Sun TV unlike Zee and star. How is Colors Tamil going now?

Regarding the number of originals that are being aired on Sun, Star and Zee, only Zee has less Originals (Star and Sun has more or less same number of original serials) ,Zee offaired few low trp serials recently after lockdown lifted! They are launching 4 fiction shows in this month and next month!

And coming to Colors Tamil ,the channel is still in struggling phase,
Their no 1 serial is that marathi serial remake!
Another fact is, Colors tamil started airing originals even during the last month of May, but other 3 channels started originals only during last Month of July!

Even the advantage of airing originals 2 months prior to the top3 channels, didn't do good for Colors Tamil !

They have not yet grown to be considered as a competition for Sun, Star and Zee!

Sahakutumba Sahaparivar serial is also most watched serial in Maharashtra it got 2600k+ impressions before 2 weeks barc and this serial is slot winner at 7 P.M. in each week.
