Sun Bangla just need to acquire some good Bangla movies, and then they can easily cross 100K impressions and be the 3rd largest Bangla GEC. The irony is despite Sun Network being so good at movies in South markets, they are lagging way behind in this department in Bangla.

I hope if Sun Marathi gets launched it will not be like Sun Bangla. As Marathi people like to see something new, even this happened with Star Pravah, before lockdown it was no.3 channel but after lockdown because of new shows it became no. 1. sun bangla doesnt have non fictions and original movies and very less and unpopular serials. They are getting what they deserve. This channel should improve and Sun Marathi should get launched soon.

Big Networks are not looking at only Bengali channels and making them waste.
1. Colors Bangla - become a dubbed channel and airs same serials if there is colors hindi itself and not has a single original serials.
2. Sony Aath - dubbed channel with no orignals.
3. Sun Bangla

They are getting what they deserve.

They deserve more than Colors Bangla and Sony Aath as they have completely stopped making new originals and air only dubbed content, and also their transmission quality is the best among all the SD Bangla channels and even SD Hindi channels. So they don't even need HD as their SD feed is more than enough.
Also Last but not the Least, Sun Bangla is a FTA channel, so you are getting all of its content without spending an extra penny. So you cannot compare it with the 19 Rupees channels as their only source of revenue is Ad Sales.

Sony Aath - dubbed channel with no orignals.

Only Good thing about Sony Aath is their original animation shows during daytime which are liked by the kids and even elders.

How about Aakash Aath, Rupashi Bangla and CTVN AKD Plus? How long will they be on air without offering anything new? News portals like IndianTelevision have largely stopped reporting on them since 2015.
