BLANK SCREEN - SD CHANNELS

Hi All,

Im frm Chennai, have the same issue, last 2-3 weeks noticing this, all tamil channels going either blank or gets stuck (like we watch a CD stuck,frame-by-frame).

Spoke to customer care, they are really useless replies,"check the cable", check this that etc....:wall

Is this a common problem across all DTH providers ? (someone mentioning Mar & Sept sunoutage problem)

Even is so, why it happens to specific set of channels only, in my case I noticed tamil channels going blank at sametime, while rest (like hindi,english news etc) works fine :c

Can anyone pl provide your inputs ?

1.Sun outage occurs at various times for different satellites.
2.Also depend on ground station location.
3.Every dth operator is receiving channels in their platform from various satellites
4.So outage occur at different channels at various times, may be at different dates
5.The problem will stop within 2-3 days after this posting (Mostly after 9/oct/2013, 04:00 PM)
