If we purchase FTA stb,
Then set in a direction like Sun direct/ airtel / dish tv positions ,
Can we watch FTA telugu channel's ?
Help required from experts.
I want move to Free dish.
But no Telugu channel's in DD free dish.
My need is watch Telugu FTA channel's only.
Iam thinking to purchase solid 6363 HD stb
(Any suggests?)

You need minimum 4 to 6ft dish.

nowadays DTH dishes are only 2 feet/65cm. those can't be used for C band.

earlier airtel, sundirect & big tv used to give 80cm to 90cm sized dishes. in such big size dishes, if you are using a conical scalar ring, then some strong frequencies can be received in C band.

but sadly, now most C band satellites having Indian channels (like 66e Intelsat-17, 83e Insat-4A/GSat-10 etc.) are becoming weak in signal strength, which makes impossible to catch all TPs (frequencies) in a 6 feet C band dish itself.
