Discussion Can Raj Musix Malayalam be a competitor for Surya Music???

After the two years' continuous test run , Raj Musix Malayalam has finally updated their song list and showing some ads of videocon D2h and their channel logos. but still same songs are repeating after 15 minutes. Does anyone have any clue about this channel? Does Raj Network really need this channel? I tried contacting the Raj News Malayalam's respective guy, but his response was they are not recruiting anyone for this music channel as of now. Kerala is a good market for music genre, since Yes Indiavision stopped their transmission and the only other competitors are Surya Music and Kappa TV. But Kappa TV's targeted audience are the elite urban youth class and they are trying to imitate the MTV trends in their programe line ups, if a channel which can showcase the malayalam songs like Yes indiavision used to, I believe if Raj Musix Malayalam launched officially with a recent good songs selection and a good marketing they can beat Surya Music.

It seems there is no periodic maintenance in Raj network channels, so don't expect more updates from them,so far surya music is the best malayalam music channel,

But they recently started Malayalam News bulletins in Raj News Malayalam.

But they have so many shows and some VJ's. If they can manage to produce shows with VJ's, why can't they just air new songs and update the songs list for the music channel? Surprisingly both these channels are available in all popular DTH platforms also.

They can't be a good competitor of Surya music,because their picture quality is worst compared to Surya music,They are running repeat songs,Sometimes they are running some other language music.....

actually these Raj TV's 2 malayalam channels are kind of mystery. No proper programming or content. simply repeating the songs in a loop. Bad picture quality. Wonder why they are paying carrriage fee to the DTH operators, when there is no action to improve the viewership thereby attracting advt revenue.
above all, Raj TV channels are broadcasted through a satellite (Chinasat @ 87E) which is not used by any other Indian broadcasting groups. FTA Channel trackers (C Band) and hobbyists are also avoiding the Raj TV channels because for catching these channels, one additional 6 ft dish and an LNB is to be deployed. Thats nearly 4000rs expense.
