This is d relationship between Viacom18 and airtel, that even though they cant add HD chnl, due to space crunch/ falcon 9 crash...
they ve done d next best thing possible, ie: downscaled d HD feed to SD

As soon as they sort out space concerns, CC HD will be d first chnl to add :win

So this shows that Comedy Central HD will use the SD license by replacing SD with HD. At this moment, in C Band, both SD and HD are running separately since the SD version in D2H is not the downscaled version of HD. Soon SD version would be closed, if I am correct.

yes they have already announced it once hd is available on all platforms,(or something like that) they will stop SD version..
