If TRAI has set up a rule, obviously TRAI Secretary is in a better position to say about it, CC of DPO may mislead for their own profit.

Also, if a tariff order is coming up and DPO's know about it, alongwith contesting in the court, they should have been ready with everything necessary for migration, rather than creating unnecessary panic via CC or other sources

But all major DPOs are follow the NCF MRP 130/-. Why they can't put NCF as Rs.80 or Rs.100? They didn't want to loose even Re.1 also in NCF.

If the Rs 130/- NCF is implemented like fixed telephone rent then its going to kill the purpose of this regulation. Most customers will watch max 25 free channels and say 25 pay channels.So its going to be 25 DD + 25 FTA + 25 Pay = 75 channels. So we are paying Rs 32.5 NCF + tax unnecessary for the balance 25 channels which we are not interested to select and watch. So the best option in the interest of customer is to fix a per channel NCF. There can be a condition that a customer should select a minimum Rs 100 worth channels every month.
