If it works out to another Rs.50 maximum still can get in below 500 Range by choosing all that I posted provided some discounts from Operator Side.

NCF - max ceiling for 100 channels is 130, but the operator can decide a lower charge if they want. So if fastway decides to charge per channel, they are free to do so. If another operator says minimum monthly NCF is 65 for 50 channels, then you have to pay minimum 65.

Multi TV connection - NCF can be waived (or discounted) by operator, rest it will be a separate channel with separate charge.

Ans: There is a proper framework which will allow users to choose channels in a stipulated time. TV channels will not go off-air on December 28 or 29. But make sure you choose your channels within given time frame and inform your cable or MSO operator about the same.

Definitely Subscription cost not going to be doubled, now everything is in Operator's hand they can provide discounts as cost for Operators is lesser than for consumers.

What they've mentioned is Initial 100 channels & not just 100 channels, Anyways :hands:

Whatever the prescribed NCF is has to be paid whether its 80, 100 or 130(max excluding GST) for the initial 100channels whether you get 5 channels or 50 channels(both fta and paid).
@Bapun Raz linked a video of Trai Secretary clearing most of the doubts. I recommend you watch it at least from 28:30 seconds where he makes this clear. NCF cannot be paid per channel. What Fastway has done is reduce the price but the initial 100channels carriage fee that is 80 Incase of Fastway must be paid. And it doesn't matter even if you take 5 channels or 100 channels(max)
@Nikhil Shirvankar is spot on here. Even it took me quite a while to understand this rule but watching Trai Secretary clear it was helpful.

Saw article on Telugu newspaper today, it says 130 rupees is minimum mandatory pack with free channels and pay channels are extra. As per that for Telugu channels + free channels only it would be 243 per month
