MRP concept is ok . Consumer will ultimately decide the price during the course of time. The concept NCF is not advisable . Considering the compulsory 26 DD channels we are left with 74 FTA channels which costs nearly Rs2/- per FTA. Pl look at the basic pack which almost all the players giving now at RS 99/- which is quiet affordable and reasonable. All the players stick to the NCF @130/ and all the broadcasters and carriers are adamant in Thier MRP and not ready to bargained.DTH operators used to own the right of negotiations and not generous to their customers. Angry over, it seems ,their privacy stripped concealing the real price of the channels and hiding all the deals entered so far ,keeping the consumer in dark giving doles? And pushing through all the untouched channels by bundling etc?

Whether I will be able to change my packe regularly (like daily) or any no. Times a day. Or once fixed it will be locked for many days?Anyone plz clarify!

Today we got NEWS FROM TRAI THAT IS there extended date from 31/January/2019 to 30/June/2019 to change package
This is the good news for Dth CUSTOMER

TV channel broadcasters think they would get more revenue after the implementation of "pay-per-channel" scheme.

But I'm damn sure, this scheme won't fetch their expected revenue but lows their current revenue.

Many channels are placed in Rs.15 - Rs.19 category which is very expensive...😖😖😖

Eventually, TV viewing has become more expensive today similar to 90s era in which only upper class family people used to watch cable pay channels but others to watch Doordarshan.😥😥😥

All media & news channels are keep mum on this price hike onlsaught to be made on Indian people.

I have Max HD top up for 12 months. What will happen to it? Will Airtel refund the proportionate amount?
