I need some help here.
I had booked independent tv connection last year. Then there was an offer in which they claimed to provide all channels free for one year. At that time it was looking pretty cool so I ordered it.
Now I got a call from independent tv yesterday asking for installation of dth. When I asked him about TRAI tarrif order he said that it would not affect me and I will still get all the channels free for one year.

I want to know is that even possible as all dth are declaring prices.

Should I go with installation ?

Please help me.
And sorry for the length of post.

Thanks in advance
Installers can't provide exact company higher end decisions. They want their commission for installation so saying anything, they won't be responsible if channel get charged later. Its not wise to go for Independent TV now. Better go for Airtel or Tata Sky. Quality of service and good hardware/software isn't a thing with Indpendent TV.

So Fastway too is charging maximum NCF!!
Everybody is charging maximum they can. I still don't get the point of LCOs complaining of getting 20% per cent. Doesn't control room maintain the expensive equipment? I remember back as a child. Our MSO's entire control room burning down. We were not getting cable for like a week.

Rightly so. They are to be held accountable, aren't they?
Our current regime is cursed. Most of the bad things we can go through are happening under this regime.

I'll start this myself. I'm using Airtel DTH with my plan 99 and max hd 225 along with 4 Hindi news channels alacarte.

1. Will the base pack price be pushed to ₹130 without tax, or it may stay at ₹99?
2. Will the hd add-ons be as cheap as the current max hd offering?
3. If in some broadcaster's bouquet, there is a channel Y which is not available in Airtel. Will I still have to pay for that bouquet fully, or will I be entitled to some discount on that front?
130 rs +gst = 153 minimum (ncf) charges for 100 FTA channels after u can choose packs . Ncf charges 20 rs for 25 channels

Dish TV and D2h cc is saying, we have to take Rs153 pack of 100 FTA channels, and after these 100 channels we can take paid/bouquet from broadcasters.
Is it not against TRAI rule???

CC is illiterate
U can choose from 26th to 100th channel HD or SD any channel
Not compulsory u can take discovery HD but ur channels count jumps to 27th from 25th because 1 HD equal 2 SD due to TRAI rule:cf:
