User profile is like separate account for each user. For example you can create one user profile for you and have your own favorite channel list and other settings and your brother also can create another user profile with his own favorite channel list and other settings. So when you start the stb, you select your user profile and it will load your settings and stuff whereas your brother can chose his user profile and it will load his settings and stuff. So each family member can have their own user profiles and use the box they want (Not all settings can be made used like this).
Chromecast inbuilt means you can directly play videos, music etc. or share your screen from the mobile itself (or laptop) to the STB. The only requirement is that your mobile and STB should be in the same Wifi network. (Chromecast is actually a separate dongle made by Google and this STB has those features inbuilt).
