in genarally , a digital satellire reciver is needed to view digital KU signals , so any type of FTA digital satellite reciver is enoughf to view DD plus , at present DD plus is in DVB -S , MPEG 2 , so there are many recivers avialable in the market price start from 900-2000 rs ,


for future use , these mpeg2 recivers are outdated , so now only DVB-S2 recivers are good , even these are also start from 2500 rs

yes kartik , u can use any fta Receiver With Dishtv for viewing Dishtv and dd direct + fta channels,
Presently u can purchase it @ Rs. 400 to 2500,

There is nothing called DD-Direct stb, You can use any stb

some links to receiver manufacturer models, Try any of these, Well there are a lot of chinese stuff too available cheaper, But wont have software support or things like that

All these manufacturers and also VU+, hyundai, coship arion etc.... all have receivers capable of receiving dd-direct+, make sure to buy one with CI slot, since Dish-tv has announced CAM, so if you want at a later stage may use it for pay-tv options too

Dish does not matter, You can use any dish or any lnbf with all these receivers
