Discussion Did I make a big mistake into moving to sun direct?

The lack of updating new channels for eg star sports 1 tamil & telugu HD , and removal of some popular channels . And some difficulties in adding channels & app not working & average customer care services.

Okay! But didn't you looked for reviews here from our team members before buying SunDirect?
One of reasons for SunDirect being so cheap is lack of channel in it. But, most of mainstream popular leading channel are available in it.
Whereas in my case I've enjoyed SunDirect HD as I watched very few channels only. Also, now I've replaced it with DDFreeDish as I already having cable TV service on another TV.

Neither I'm here to justify anyone nor I'm here to do justice. Better switch to Tata Play if want to watch more channel and ready to pay more.

I am using sun dth bro since 2013. Assamese people are deprived that is all I am saying.

Again dada Assam only has one pay channel that is News18 Assam & NE. We can live without this. But we need other channels like News Live, Prag, DY 365 etc. TV is useless without local news. Anyhow they don't sell here. So it doesn't make any difference to us.

Nepal1 is not that popular and doesn't carry relevant topics. Pratidin Time is fine. But one alternative is required if it gets removed for some reason.

Few months ago I stay in Hotel that time I saw in my room Tataplay PQ worst quality,
Last month again I stay in Hyd Hotel but this time luxury hotel Samsung Tv+Tataplay HD box saw SD PQ better not bad even I mention these lines in general discussion thread,
But the main problem favourite list Tataplay favourite LCN from 900, Airtel user profile Viewer-1,2,3, dishd2h direct from 1-80 LCN only these is difference and little bit SD PQ difference that's it.

I think you forgot Sun Direct carrying DD Assam & DD Nagaland too. These two chs have a lot of news content.

But in other cable networks like tccl they have added star sports 1 tamil hd and vijay super hd and zee thirai hd which is essential for tamil viewers . Sun Direct is famous for users from tamil nadu and they don't have any concern on why they have not added them .
