Discussion Digital Cable TV Vs DTH

Voted for Digital cable for value for money packs.I get ss2,ss 1 hindi,ten 1,ten 3,dsports in my Rs 270 pack.I don't think any dth gives that.Also in the era of diminishing linear television.Mso/cable can offer triple play with high speed broadband and voip services along with cable.Probably thats why jio chose mso license over DTH.

Which MSO providing this for Rs 270, and in which region? How much will be initial STB cost?

Yes, it is interesting that Jio has chosen MSO license. Their plans would be to couple JioFibre and JioCableTV :cap: together to disrupt the two most popular markets after Mobile Phone networks. Had heard rumors about a Diwali launch, it is delayed. But any idea when will it be rolled out commercially?

Are we looking at a 7-months free Cable from Jio?

Cable is best.
No dth only money making or loting plan.
Fastway cable provide everything recording free,epg,free extra own channel,also provides regional channels sd,hd,quality of fastway awesome + Dolby sound,nodal officer plus point of fastway cable if customercare not provide any problem solutions then call to. Nodal officer.problem solving within couple of days.

Not all cities have MSO like Fastway, hathway, DEN, etc So for these cities DTH is better.

Yes bro fastway have not all over india.
But I use fastway cable(now)..in 2007 to 2010 use dishtv & 2010 to 2011 airtel dth.i feel fastway cable provide better service compare to dth.

But if u compare Fastway HD and TS HD, which one u would go. I know that fastway provides lots of HD channels for cheap price.
But again, not all MSO are like Fastway.

We have option in dth service but we haven't option in cable. In my city only siti cable available. Very service and no hd box and channels.
