RE: D2H added Dolby Digital audio for "Gemini HD"

I wrote to Airtel nodal officer today. @anjank any update from Videocon.

RE: D2H added Dolby Digital audio for "Gemini HD"

the only update I have got from videocon is that they have escalated to broadcaster but the issue will not be fixed anytime soon... I am going to unsubscribe once my lock-in period ends(may be in 2-3 days)... but, for them to be genuine HD channel-they need to start a different HD feed and provide different content(may be HD songs/movies/programs)

I'm having this channel in the base pack. So I will keep it and hope for the best!!

Khaleja is in HD and 5.1 for the first time. I feel it's better than Legend. Anyone else can confirm.

I dont have HD subscription but in SD channel I observed little hiss sound

Re: D2H added Dolby Digital audio for "Gemini HD"

One thing I have observed with Gemini HD audio is, there's too much of bass. The Sub woofer is always on regardless of the program. For instance, even when the character is just saying something without any music it comes out with a lot of bass. This is the reason for the audio sounding of poor quality like 48kbps. I'm not sure when they will rectify this biggest issue.

Guys,

The high bass issue has been fixed. Hopefully we will experience much better audio when they transmit Dolby Digital programs. Anyone else can confirm.

How about HD content? Did they start telecasting HD content most of the time or still same?
