Dish tru HD+

Hi,

I have purchased Dishtv HDtru+ STB to be setup in Abu Dhabi.
In Abu dhabi I already have Dishtv SD STB which is running smoothly.

After I connect HDtru+ STB to satellite dish, Iam unable to see the channels I have subscribed to. After to-'n-fro call to customer service- who did refreshed all the channels as per them, but Iam still unable to see the channels. The only message on the channel screen is 'unsubscribe, please check with operator'.

The satellite dish is still the old Dishtv dish which was installed for Dishtv SD STB.

I had asked Dishtv umteen times, whether the satellite dish required a change, the answer I received was a 'No'; hence at the time of STB delivery I did not opt for new dish+LNB.

Now, after going thru' the forum, I recon that monoblock LNB is required to receive HD channels.

Do I have to install monoblock LNB?
After the monoblock LNB installation, will I receive HD channels which I a had subscribed for and 5.1 audio?

This installation is for Abu dhabi.

Yes you have to go for monobloc LNB to view HD channels.

Call your dealer and ask for mono bloc.
