dish tv hd gives max sd and hd in 399 rs pack

How can dish tv trying to become so cheap.

giving most hd channel in its lowest hd base pack.

consider content and broadcaster subscription. charge for hd channel is very high.

Ok.. I had a look at the packages. No doubt these packages are gud, but not at par with d2h.

This is bcoz this pckg doesnt have the 3 sports channel (ESPN, SS, Star cricket). Considering all 3 are mandatory for majority of us.

For Dish TV:
These channels cost arnd 70 rupees. So 400+70 = Rs 470 per month ~ 27 HD (without ESS HD)

For D2H:
Their platinum HD pack = Rs 480 ~ 22 HD channels
Which has all 3 ESS channels+ ESS HD + lots of other channels missing from dish tv pack of rs399 ( like: axn, comedy central, fox traveller, disc science, turbo, ngc adventure, fox action movies, FX, world movies etc... )

Thus, as far as pricing is concerned, D2H is far ahead of dish TV. :k
May be if one doesnt watch sports channels at all, and doesnt subscribe to them..... then dish tv pckg is gud..... otherwise :no
