maybe in a year or two, whole star brand will be changed to Disney like Disney Plus, Disney Bharat, Disney Gold, Disney Movies, Disney World, Disney Sports, Disney MAA, Disney Suvarna, Disney Pravah, Disney Jalsha, Disney Vijay, Disney Asianet
maybe they'll retain nat geo.

But After years of hurdles, the star has somehow got a stable position India with good regional, national, sports channel portfolio. they should reconsider selling the whole brand to Disney.

Fox also did not rename the channels to Fox Plus, Fox Bharat etc when they got Star India. Disney may also retain the original names after taking over

After deal done, then ESPN will be with Sony or Star??

I think Star and Sky brand names will be retained. 'Disney' name will not be used on non-kids products. eg. ABC and ESPN are owned by Disney and their names are maintained. I think there is a 50% chance that Star Sports may be retained by Fox as only US local Fox Regional Sports Network channels (RSN FOX) are going to be part of Disney but the national Fox Sports channel (FS1) will remain with FOX. Also there is an issue with SONY and ESPN in India.

Unlikely. Disney becomes the owner of the existing channels. They do not wan't to alter their market share and dig their own graves by such a hasty renaming exercise. Highly unlikely for them to rename all Star channels to Disney.

Star is a big brand in South East Asia and Indian subcontinent. 99% chance is that Star's name will be retained
