Sure why not. Go for Airtel Digital TV. All SD Channels @ RS 562 p.m. All HD Channels @ RS 590 p.m. Where as in SUN DTH All SD Channels @ RS 289 p.m. only.

In sundth,half of the channels aren't there.
Why 562?We can get all channels@405 excluding other regional channels except your own language channels

Not gud because videocon d2h providing all hindi entertainment channels,14 hindi movies channels,atleast 10 hindi news channels,atleast 10 hindi music channels,4 kids channels,5 main infotainment channels,8 punjabi channels in their basic pack.so sun direct is far behind atleast in north india..

What are you telling Man ? Please look at SUN DTH packages and then comment. SUN DTH providing 3 to 4 Sports Channels , all Hindi Entertainment Channels except Life OK, All Popular Hindi Movie Channels, 8 to 9 Hindi News Channels, 4 English News Channels, 5 English Entertainment Channels, 8 Kids Channels, All Popular Devotional Channels , All Punjabi Channels and most important the popular Bengali Channels just within RS 180 p.m. PLease have a look and then comment. Videocon D2H's monthly package only starts from RS 200 p.m. for North Customers.

I always prefer & wanted this type of channel packaging. Where you get channels from different genre in all base packs. Good package offer by Sun DTH for south customer.

@Bishnu15 I have I query, can a north Indian customer able to choose the south Indian packages as well.

sundirect is low on cost in my have i have 3 dth installed reliance videocon HD and sun personally i use sun direct cauz its has low cost monthly pack plus i am getting tensports for free

The entire strategy & focus of Sun DTH is only on South India. It is clearly visible in their services & packages as well. For example, all their ROI packs have lesser Hindi channels but better English channels than most other DTHs. Also regional coverage outside South India is poor. I have also heard about lots of problems about their customer care outside South India from others. Given a choice, I would never use it unless it changes it's strategy.

Sorry I beg to differ with you tech genie. SUN DTH providing all Hindi Channels in ROI Pack. Only Life Ok & ETV Rajasthan are missing whivh has to be taken as separate ala carte. Not only Hindi, even Urdu & Bhojpuri Channels are available in base packs . I am a SUN DTH active customer since last One year or so in South Kolkata & I am facing no such real problems as u mentioned in ur previous post. They arte providing all popular Hindi Movies Channels, Hindi Music, 9 Hindi News Channels. Can you tell me which DTH will provide me these popular Channels just within RS 180 p.m.: DD -National / DD -Sports / Ten Sports / Ten Action / Star World / Prime CBS / Spark CBS / Love CBS / Fashion TV India / VH One English / GOD TV (24 Hours) / NDTV 24X7 / CNN IBN / CNBC TV18 / Russia Today - No one ! None ! Never ! Take a look at Videocon D2H's Sports Pack - New Gold Sports Pack priced at RS 266 p.m. it does not even has a single English News Channel leave aside English Entertainment. Then, take a look at Tata Sky's Sports Pack - Supreme Sports Kids Pack priced at RS 280 p.m. it does not even has a single English Channel - News / Entertainment / Music / Movies. But SUN DTH provides in ROI Packs 11 ENGLISH CHANNELS. GOD TV available on DISH TV only from 4am to 11am. In Tata Sky it is available on smaller screen. All the popular Bengali Channels are even available within RS 180 p.m. only. In all other DTHS North Packages Monthly Subscription starts only from RS 200 p.m. but in SUN DTH Two very good packs under RS 200 :
