It happened with Sun direct too. They added Dolby Digital for Star Plus HD in FTA box first and added into Sun Direct box after few days.

Then which method they are using? 5.1 is just the common name of the audio type. But it will come only when the source is generated as Dolby Digital or DTS or AC3 or Dolby Pro Logic II. It should come under any of these. Refer Wikipedia or Google to know more on this. If dish TV is not using Dolby Digital method, which method is being used by them?

Then why the set top box is showing Dolby Digital (in FTA box) or Dolby Digital Plus?
