Hello all,

I have some questions about DVB-T2 technology.

1) Can I use my old normal terrestrial antenna to catch the signals and supply it to DVB-T2 device?

2) What is the current signal level of DVB-T2 channels of Doordarshan?

3) How many total channels in HD or SD are available till now?

Antenna selection depends on your area where you are living. If you are not much far from DVB T2 Transmitter then Indoor Antenna will be OK.  At present  5 to 6 SD channel and 3 to 4 Radio channel  available but all are DD channels

1. Yes, you can use normal terrestrial antenna.
2. Available in and around 14 cities.
3. In Delhi as on today 13 channels, 6 TV, 3 FM and 4 channels are repeated.

First and last, it is not available in India properly in all places and currently its in testing phase. So i doubt confirm it will not be available in Pakistan. Check if PK has any DVB T2 service provided by Govt. :k
