The idea is to promote the "Star Sports" brand name in India...so its only going to be renamed as Star Sports 1 or 3.

That is how Star/ Sky/ Fox brands are used in different countries across the world. Like in UK & NZ its Sky Sports 1-5 and Sky Sports F1, in Australia it is Fox Sports 1/2/3...

However, there may be a lean possibility of renaming it to Fox Sports (just as rest of Asia).
