If it is not dual tuner, then its waste i think....

I think, the other DTH STB (SD or HD) will work in this way unless it is a PVR. Only the PVR will have dual tuner in all the DTH STBs. Normal STB that are enabled with USB recording will have only one tuner and so we cannot watch one channel and record another channel at a time..

Anybody using other DTH STB with recording enabled can confirm this..

Jak Cable connection in my friends home, there also we can record only what we watch, while recording if we try to change the channel, it says the Recording will be stopped....

Ya that's right I have upgrade my old hd with new hd one.....I have recharged my account with annual one on 26th and on 29th I just offer to upgrade the box with new one...only have to pay 199 activation charge and 30 per month recording charge...I have recorded with it it support all USB divide up to 1TB and so on....

Small box with slim remote, for changing the chnls we do not have to point the remote to the tv...works any where from 25m range..

Today I exchanged my old HD Zapper with new 2222 Box.

CC told me that if I recharge with Rs. 2709, I will get new box + 6 months GoldHD. But I received only 1 month GoldHD extension. Just written to them to fix this :angry

Immediately after installation and recharge, I got SMS on mobile showing recharge due date after 6 months... but on STB and online a/c it shows only 1 month left for recharge.

Some help required:
- No matter what resolution I change in STB (720P or 1080P/I) it remains the same 1080P @50 Hz. How can I change it to 1080I @60Hz?? Its not happening. :wall

- What is RCU? Compact or Normal?

- Product Data:
Boot: 3.1
Loader: Ver 1
VM: 2.8.027

Do i need to update? How?

Thanks
