Five Million Illegal (Indian) DTH Connections in Pakistan

dear the main reason for this ilegal connection is that cable opeartor not showing indian chanels on cable

the other reason is poor quality of cable network they are still in stone ages no investment on cable network

I am also using DTH in Bangladesh for the last 2 years. Only reason i bought this to watch live sports in HD. In Bangladesh almost all cable operators using analog system for broadcasting so its impossible to see HD on my HD TV. I paid taka 2 for one rs.

And believe it or DTH recharge is sometimes easier than our mobile phone recharge. Because card is available at selected and online transaction too. Where for mobile phone recharge only depends on local stores where card/easy load available. So to recharge mobile i have to go outside but for DTH my internet connection is enough.

Rest amount is for agent charge to recharge. Rate is high because it's illegal.

Double the cost. If PAK government orders to take out the satellite receiving dishes from every home then I guess no way to get Indian channels..

Every Govt do that. 3 -4 years ago we were able to get few bangladeshi channels on terrestrial network in better quality than DD national or DD metro(Now DD news). But then our Prasar Bharati increase signal strength many times to block those channels. As a result now we only get DD channels on terrestrial network.

I always wonder, how are these payments made.
Also, is the payment made in PKR or INR ? I mean suppose for Mega pack, INR 350 is to be shelled out, but for Pakistani Rupee, it comes out to be approx. PKR 550.

So, are they converting the currency, before depositing money!! :huh
