Yes, this is a big problem as Dish TV removed almost all channels which are available on GSAT-15 from it's own transponders. While I am in India, so it doesn't really concern me but as you said, its a terrible move for middle east customers which Dish TV has many.

Just out of curiosity, how is Tata Sky reception there?

Yes that's a bad move by dishtv for ME customers. They should rethink on it and provide us all the channels.

Would appreciate if someone could pass this msg to Dishtv management and they wake up.

Also i would suggest dishtv middle east customers to raise this concern and support the cause.

Secondly we don't have TATA sky reception here. Dishtv operating from long time and now Airtel also emerging slowly here.

@kashif963 bro Dishtv is looking to sale it as per unconfirmed news.So its better to look for other options as they will not put money like pay channel additions or any other improvements related to TP etc. From long time they have not added pending pay channels and it looks it will stay as it is.

Is it necessary to have an airtel mob no. to be registered for Airtel digital tv online account. Or anyother network mob no can also be registered like jio?

Also need to know that tomorrow if we stop using that registered mob no or dont recharge it then will airtel dth will stop working? Basically need to know

You can add any network mobile number as your rmn, there is no restrictions.

Thanks for the info. So you are sure like if i have jio sim i can use it as rmn for airtel dth. no need airtel sim.

Secondly tomorrow if i not recharge that sim will it affect my airtel dth service.?

It should not affect until you are opting for services using sms. I don't know about Airtel if it has sms based services option. But by the other way there will always be a active number which will you keep can be given as a RMN. Its same when you are opting for services a RMN is registered by the operator during registration which should be kept active.
