Yes i got it @ a very low price.. No where you can get it @ below 700-800Rs i guess... Try to find this in online Dish/STB shopping sites.. Also the price you told is correct for this product... I was a lucky one who got it at a low price...

hey frens,

Finally I have bought switch from "magicdecoders" ebay shop.

I very disappointed as product showing in picture is totally different from which i have received.

Gecen DiSeqC 8x1 switch model type are different. I have recevied Gecen GD-81A & product picture on ebay is showing Gecen GD-81D (first pic) & GD-81E (second pic)......

@ Pragyavan : Pls. comment on this as you are the owner of this online shoppe....& pls. use exact product pic on site or mention "Actual product type may vary from given pic & given pic is only for identical use." Bro. I know you are reputed seller for satellite products but this small suggestion will build strong trust to your buyers

I'm using Solid HD S2 2100 STB but its not detecting this switch. prior to this I was using Universal 4x1 which was worked very well.....i dont know why 8x1 is not working ...

Is there any setting that needs to be modified to use 8x1 in solid STB ?

Dear Friends GD81A, B, C, D, E, F all are same switches.....

Only slight difference in mold of the switches.

All the features are same.........

Sometimes A comes and sometimes E comes in stock.....

That doesnt matter for user at all

Dear Friends........... The matter has been discussed all over the various forums so many times that 8 port diseqc Switch supports 1.1 protocol which is only available in high end receivers with ALI 3601 or 3602 chipsets.

Solid 2100 does not support 8 ports switches. Solid only supports diseqc 1.0 and 2.0 protocols..... It doesnot support diseqc 1.1 protocol so this 8 port switch whether it is GD81A or GD81E or GD81D, will not support with Solid receiver.

In FTA receivers MAGICDECODERS MDS2 HD receiver, our latest product supports DISEQC 1.1 protocol for 8 and 16 ports switches........

Even Bapun's switch does not support Solid receiver........
