ohh thanks for the info dear....

Is it possible to use 22K tone switch with 2 nos. of 4x1 Diseqc switch for the solution to work with Solid receivr?

If yes then Do you have 22K tone switch available with you ?

Pls. suggest.....

We have to buy good latest recievers to get more out off our investments. choose the latest .

I am giving this info upto my knowledge, if someone knows more please tell me and all the members....

22k switch can be used with two 4 port switches but in one switch you can attach only Horizontal channels and in other switch only vertical channels.

Dual Pol. LNB doesnot work in this setup.....

22K switch is tough to find in India, even we do not sell it, no demand at all these days

Please give info about the signal insertion loss (in dB) in diseqc switches???

I have a techvision 4X1 diseqc. It has 3 dB insertion loss (as written on it)...
Is this insertion loss same in all diseqcs, or different in some?? :huh

Does it effect channels with low signal quality?? :huh

Insertion loss is the loss of signal power resulting from the insertion of a device in a transmission line...

If the power transmitted to the load before insertion is PT and the power received by the load after insertion is PR, then the insertion loss in dB is given b

Insertion loss = 10 log{10} PT / PR

It will not affect your signal quality till 6db insertion loss but if its higher then it will definitely affect performance...

:( now i have to purchase new receiver from magicdecoder which support Diswqc 1.0,1.1 as i have already bought 8x1 switch !!!
