Checkllist for proper use of DISEQC Switches

1. Try to install it under shade, to save it from water and sunlight. Although it is waterproof but still try to save from water. Just like we keep our waterproof Watch safe from water, even if it is waterproof.

2. Never insert or eject the wires of DISEQC switch without power off your receiver.

3. Always tape off your vacant slots in the switch so that water can be avoided to go inside via slots. even moisture can create trouble with the switch. So please place tape on unused slots to cover them.

These things will help in increase of life of your switches......

yes never plug and unplug from. port , while it is on from reciver , targeting the port ,

only port get blown out if you mess up by shorting to active port ,while plug and unplug of coaxial
