Count Airtel in for Assamese market. It carries all Assamese satellite channels. Also recognises the state language of Assam.

Yes bhai . Thanks for providing Information. I did not count in east region in comparison bcoz i do not have proper sense of how operators faring there. Apart from airtel how r others doing there, is cable tv still more popular bcoz of more local content?

Local channels are not that popular. All they show is pirated movies. Meanwhile satellite channels most of which are news channels have gotten everything covered. But an disappointed as there hasn't been tv premiers of most movies.

Cable TV is no longer popular here. It was dirt cheap. Since it has gotten expensive. Most people are switching to dth.

All channels removed from a-la-carte section on self care app. What is reason for this?

If the new Zee channels are added on Airtel, the expected LCNs are as follows:
  • Zee Punjabi: 556. Presumably 556 has been kept empty for Zee Punjabi as 555 is for PTC Punjabi and other LCNs are occupied. It could also be 554 as there is nothing before 555.
  • Zee Biskope: The possible LCNs are 654, 656, 663–666, 668.
  • Zee Thirai: 773 or 775–779.
