Try these steps..it might improve
Go to picture settings in stb and set sharpness to 100
Go to TV picture settings, and turn off noise reduction and digital noise reduction and also adjust tv sharpness setting value

And obviously if your tv supports HDR, please turn on HDR in xstream box, you might notice dull picture , increase contrast to compensate
