I activated Sony Six HD online at 12:20 AM
The channel was not getting activated even after 15 minutes and even after 2 refresh from online.
Called CC and waited for 5 minutes on call and listened to the nice music to get the call disconnected after 5 minutes.
Called CC again and waited for 5 more minutes on call and listened the same nice music.
I was about to send an email explaining the above music experience and suddenly once CC guy picked my call.
He said he is refreshing. I said I already did. He said he is doing from his end and asked if the channel is working. I said no.
And then he said, the online activation will activate only after 48 hours. I said "what are you saying? something new?"
He hold me on call and connected to his supervisor.
Supervisor said, there is an improvement activity happening in the CC end from 06-Apr onward till 12-Apr and that is the reason for all these problems. Also said, the problems will occur only after 12 AM (midnight).
I simply asked what should I do now to get the channel or please remove the channel from my account and I am not ready to pay for today. He said it is not possible since the lock-in period is 1 month.
I said, take a complaint and solve the issue. Refund the amount for today if the problem is not getting solved before morning.
He agreed and said service charges will be applied for this complaint. I again shocked and asked why are you charging when there is no need of engineer visit. He said, engineer will visit for all the complaints and he ensured that he will not charge me.
Finally the complaint got activated and I said Thanks!
And I asked, what about Sony KIX where IPL is being broadcast in Tamil and Telugu languages. He said, D2H is yet to get the channel (which I already know).
Asked when will you add since the addition after IPL is no use.
He said he is taking feedback.
I also asked what happened to SS HD 4 which is showing more exclusive sports.
He said, he is taking feedback for that as well.
Finally I asked why you removed Puthuyugam though the replacement News 7 Tamil is a good channel.
He said he is taking feed back.
I said Thanks and Disconnected the call.
The channel Sony SIX HD got activated immediately after disconnecting the call.
I tried to call them again and listed the audio "All lines busy" and finally sent an email to cancel the complaint.
