Now I am disclosing:

I have two TVs. Both are LCD 26" and 21" respectively. In my drawing room TV SUN DIRECT HD is installed. Recharged for Three months with HD Bengali Pack. In my second TV previously had RDTV HD DVR installed and recharged till Jagodhatri Puja 2017. Jagodhatri Puja is over, so is my recharge. Haven't replaced it with ADTV/Tata/Dish etc because I feel that these brands dont even think twice before increasing price. I dont have much channel requirements neither my family. SUN DIRRCT HD is best for us. I shall wait till this month end before I recharge RDTV or throw it away.
But I honestly feel MAX HD Pack RDTV too costly compared to BENGALI VALUE PLUS ULTRA HD Pack SUN DIRECT. The reason is quite simple- SUN DIRECT BENGALI VALUE PLUS ULTRA HD Pack = 60 HD Channels + 180 odd SD Channels @ RS 429 p.m. where as RDTV MAX HD Pack = 12 HD Channels only + 200 odd SD Channels @ RS 550 p.m.

We mostly watch:

1. ABP Ananda (Our family all time favourite)
2. Zee Bangla
3. Star Jalsha (My granny's time pass)
4. Zee Bangla
5. Aakash Aath for news (Missing it now as SUN DIRECT showing blank screen)
6. Sangeet Bangla (Missing it now as SUN DIRECT showing blank screen)
7. Bengali Feed of Travel XP HD
8. DD- Bangla (News/Music/Movies)
9. Bengali Feed of NGC
10. Times Now HD
11. Mirror Now
12. News X
13. Colors Hindi
14. Star Sports 1 HD
15. Sony Six HD (Cricket)

So, requirement low, so Sun DTH is enough.

I hope that I have been able to resolve curiosity of @Bapun Raz @shawl_who @Gobinaath @Karthik. @amarnathkvk @ABCDEFGH @Chezhiyan @Sarkar @Vicky @M.J.Sadiq bros and others......

I m watching all 70 HD and all SD chnls, on ADTV in rs. 459 per month ( with yearly recharge )
so, which one is cheaper :blush:

@shawl_who bro these brands like ADTV/Tata increase pack price add on price yearly but sun rdtv etc increase pack price may be once in two years at least in ROI department.

well, its simple.... u want more, u pay more.. and vice-versa.

u can watch 90 HD chnls on tata sky, but u ll have to shell out extra money for it.
ADTV is d best bet right now, its cheaper than tata sky, due to its infinity recharge. I also dont want to pay rs. 800 per month, for watching those extra 15 hd chnls, most of which are second rung chnls or have less viewerships.

Yeah bro. good explanation.

Earlier, when HD Channels were not popular, Reliance was a very economical option. The Long Term Packs used to be in the range of Rs 3100 - Rs 3300. Worked out to be less than 300 per month. And used to get all SD Channels. It was way better than other players in terms of cost. But lately they stopped adding new channels, and Last Year hiked the prices too. A Gold Pack of 12 months + 45 days free is Rs 4680 which is ridiculous. Cost-wise I dont think RDTV is any good now. And neither Channel-count-wise.

RDTV a sinking company, better move out to ADTV with good offers or DishTV 3 years non stop pack and added channels what ever you like for cheapest in DTH market @Rs10 per channel,so pay what you watch for three years no mandatory buying Rs200-475 per month packs and best AQ PQ quality in their latest box Next HD

but they were good for these years and waiting for some jio magic

Jio MSO License. Waiting. It'll be some 3-4 months free for sure, but just like JioFibre, I thinj there will be a security deposit. The Jio SIM was free because there was no hardware involved (hardware was our phone). But in this case, STB / cable will be needed. Dont think it can be completely free, what say bros?
