Jio MSO License. Waiting. It'll be some 3-4 months free for sure, but just like JioFibre, I thinj there will be a security deposit. The Jio SIM was free because there was no hardware involved (hardware was our phone). But in this case, STB / cable will be needed. Dont think it can be completely free, what say bros?
if jio is behind veecon media then there will be some good offers and new channels will added

This was discussed and debated here on DDF. Chances are less since Jio has applied for MSO License, and not DTH License. Taking over a DTH Company doesn't seem to be their strategy for now. Even if they acquire, the infrastructure cannot be used for the MSO License - lots of STB and Dish Antenna will be wasted. It's uncertain what will happen. Lets hope for a "New Year Gift"

Hey, have Network18 channels started? Can see a snap of News18 regional news channel, hence asking. What about Sony network channels?

It'll take some time. There are so many procedures to acquire a company. Now Rdtv may renew their license & continue the services as before. After the acquisition completes they will rebrand it.
RDTV said their license will expire on 18-Nov (yesterday). For it to continue, they should have renewed their DTH License by now. Any news on this confirmation?
