Real estate firm Skyblue Buildwell has acquired 82.64% stake in HomeShop18 after fresh round of funding, said Network18 Media & Investments in a regulatory filing without sharing details.

After the investment, Skyblue has become the holding company and promoter of TV18 Home Shopping Network (HomeShop18), it added. HomeShop18 has also ceased to be a subsidiary of NW18 HSN Holdings Pic and an associate of Network18 Media & Investments. "Accordingly, the company is in the process of changing its corporate as well as brand name," it said.

So TV18 has decided to exit TV Shopping biz. I had already estimated Shop CJ closure but this is even bigger development. Shop CJ removal was bcoz of this, maybe new firm wants just one channel catering to the market

Police said the channel was running without a licence, but during inquiries, the channel's officials produced a letter of acceptance from the Centre under name of 'Network 10'. But on its door, posters for the channel called it 'Nation Live', the administration's report noted.

Gautam Budh Nagar SSP Vaibhav Krishna said the channel had applied for fresh licence under the name, 'Nation Live', but haven't yet received it. “They had applied in March. They have license for Network 10 and not for Nation Live,” he said.

Titanic - Dubbed in Hindi set to premiere this Saturday at 8 PM on Star Gold.

Now Star India also has Dangal movie indirectly in its kitty as UTV channels r fully managed by them now. They cannot air it on Star Network bcoz of contractual limitations as mentioned in satellite rights sharing agreement with Zee. Also there r only few screenings of this movie allowed for UTV
 
Looks like Star India dropped plan of telecasting India vs Pakistan this Sunday on Star Gold bcoz they foresee rains possibly playing spoilsport
