Got Hallmark channel on Analogue cable as well. Watched Wipeout and Biggest Loser on it.

Missing TRT World and Sky News in India. Sky News is there on Hotstar but TRT World is nowhere (other than YouTube), and Arirang is not in India either (on satellite).

TS has all the international channels except CGTN which is exclusive to Dish TV. I think KBS World has an exclusive tie-up with DDFD, and since KBS World is there, Arirang (the other Korean channel) is too reluctant to enter India.

I never hated Sony Max more than today. Till now not only they didn't give a Shradhanjali to Irrfan Khan. They bought rights of movies only to hog it. Don't recall the last time Piku and Karwaan aired. Someone needs to put in whoever the heck works at Sony's head. That independent and offbeat movies are created for art. Ratings aren't everything. We are tired of Southern crap. You ruined an industry we use to love. If you are so desperate for ratings. Air 'B' grade semi erotic movies. That will give you a boost. True movie lovers boycott this disgraceful movie channel. I am glad YRF is slowy moving away.

But yes, Sony Max has destroyed the Hindi movie channel genre (Max 2 is much better). It is still feeding off its ill-gotten (namely Telugu/Kannada) fruits and while it has done a little bit for Bollywood after YRF left, it is nowhere close to enough.

BTW not a single Hindi movie channel so far has sent out an RIP message for Irrfan. In fact, even when Sridevi died, Star Gold did nothing. At least Sony Max and Zee Cinema put out something.

I have requested them to air his movies, I think they will make some changes in the schedule and will air some movies. I want Paan Singh Tomar to air. BTW StarGold Select is airing 7 1/2 Phere on 4:45 pm

They will appreciate the art after the artist is dead. After few days they will forget and be back to Sooryavan-sham and south movies.
