Last year they announced 5 Channels
1. Star Vijay Music LAUNCHED
2. Star Gold 2 HD
3. Star Sports 3 HD
3. Star Movies Select SD
4. Disney Channel HD

They Launched only Star Vijay Music in Bigg Boss 4 Tamil Launch Day.

In my opinion Sony Max 2 HD, Colors Cineplex Bollywood HD (or whatever name Viacom18 wants to keep) and Star Gold 2 HD should be launched in the coming few years. SG2 HD should have a family/dubbed Hollywood focus and UTV HD should be closed. UTV HD in its current form is useless and the only good reason it exists is only to show movies like Dangal which are owned by another network (here Zee) but cannot be shown on Star-branded channels.

Also, more than launching &xplor SD, the distribution of the existing HD channel must be improved greatly as currently very few people know of this excellent channel (not even ADTV users, even though they actually have it unlike other DTHs) because of the non-existence of promotions from Zee’s end.

Yes, Max2 HD, Cineplex Bollywood and Star Gold 2 HD r needed. UTV HD can b revamped as Star Gold 2 HD with no requirement of change in bouquet placement and no worry about waiting for NTO 2.0 verdict. UTV HD started off on promising note airing popular hollywood dubbed and UTV bollywood films but now has become a useless channel. Also now UTV films library has been inducted on star network channels and films like Dangal, ABCD still r with other broadcasters and i do not think Disney will show it on UTV HD as agreement for sharing might n just for sd channel

&Xplor surely needs better reach and they should make same feed available to sd viewers too

Some days back we were discussing that hindi movie channels should have standard starting time for movies rather than irregular slots ( though i feel it is not possible as diff films have varying length and time gap between films cannot be wasted by fillers). Today onwards Sony Max has started showing films at standard 6 am, 9 am, 12 pm, 3 pm, 6 pm, 9 pm slots

checked tomorrow's schedule on whats on india app...it is stille irregular

Few mins up n down will always be there but still they have tried to align as per fixed timings. Though i am not in favor of this specially if fillers r put in or scenes or songs r cut to fit movie in these slots

Most new movies are less than 2.5 hours. Still they may need to cut a few scenes or songs to accomodate ads.

Advantage is that it is easy for viewers to remember these times.

1st march onwards Discovery Science now has refreshed daily schedule

Strong possibility that FYI and AXN might make comeback post non competing term period completion. Also none of its shows visible till now on other chs which increases chances of them being renewed by same channel though with diff ownership

After watching movies on & Flix, Zee mostly soon shutting down & Flix Because Lack of movies, Now except Marvel Studios movies nothing new there on & Flix, All other banner movies already Slowly moving on Movies Now and Sony Pix.
