Out Of 6 English GEC HD 4 Very Likely To Shut Down By Next 2-3 Months!

From Star India All 3 English GEC Will Be Shutdown.

Star World Will Replace by Star Sports 1 Tamil HD.
Star World HD will replace by Star Gold Romance.
Star World Premiere HD will replace by Star Movies Select SD.

They need to scrap plans of Star Gold Romance and give us Star Sports Romance instead. They should hire love gurus to express love to the game of cricket and cricketers 24/7.

That doesn't mean anything. If 4K channel ever comes. It will start with Hindi GEC, Movies and Sports. Definitely not regional channel

That may it.. But when Star Plus was struggling, only Star Channel which was regularly topping the trp charts was Star Maa... However, it's not realistic to expect any 4k channels in GEC and Movies be it any language.. Star may launch 4k variants of Sports channels but that's it... People aren't even adopting HD channels I doubt they will migrate to 4K channels especially when there is a requirement to have 4k ready boxes which majority of the people doesn't have.

Star Launched a Marathi Sports channel earlier but not available on any dth Or cable platforms yet..

How do you know which channel is replacing what? Is it written in the MIB licence list or are you guessing?

Note: In addition to the above 3 new channels, Star Gold 2 HD and Disney Channel HD are also planned by Disney/Star along with Vijay Super HD and Asianet Movies HD.

I think Disney International HD will continue along with Star World Premiere HD. UTV HD, Star Sports First and some regional feeds like Bengali version, Star Gold Select HD or SD, Baby TV, Fox Life might shut down
UTV Action most probably will b revamped and bindass might see some changes
