Really impressed with content being aired on Investigation Discovery, wide variety of shows and fresh/new shows are added to the schedule at regular intervals and above all these r dubbed in Hindi too. All this despite channel not having much ad revenue, SD feed still has some ads while HD has even lesser ads.
Atleast Discovery Network is trying out new things and innovating as per rapid transformation happening in broadcast landscape. Their channels are affordably priced , air diverse content barring Discovery Channel which still needs to alter its programming strategy and even Discovery+ has lots of good content. I am certain they will further adapt to changing consumption pattern of viewers and improve further on its content strategy and even launch some new channels. Other broadcasters who have niche channels can learn some things from discovery network and implement the same across their channels so as to cater to viewers of different segment.
I had read i think in TRAI observations that around 70% of Pay TV audience are subscribed to Discovery Bouquet which in itself is a great achievement
