After you pointed my typo mistake earlier in one of the post i recently almost all posts recheck twice but yesterday forget to check

JioCinema airing IPL in Punjabi and Bhojpuri shows how Star Sports doesn't understand sports market. You have franchise team of states you don't even cater to. Every IPL team deserves a local channel atleast.

We need more local Star Sports channels specially in Northeastern states, Bengal and Punjab/Haryana. There is an organic sports culture here. Exposure can help talent to grow. This is what a local sports channel like Star Sports 1 Telugu and Sony Ten 4 must do. Cover state and regional sporting events. So many leagues goes untelevised or pushed towards DD Sports. These mainstream broadcasters have id*otic approach of treating sports like movies. What does dubbing commentary does for any sports?

While covering locally relevant sports in regional language is necessary so is maintaining the financial viability of a sports broadcast business. As i have stated and explained in detail that it is not possible for any broadcaster to launch a full fledged regional sports channel for all languages, it is not viable on business front....audio feeds r thus always launched for the same.

India’s television industry has recorded a growth of around 5%, standing at Rs 72,000 crore for 2021-22 as compared to Rs 68,500 crore in the previous fiscal, shows the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI) annual report for FY 2021-22.

TRAI has stated that subscription revenues account for a major share of the overall industry revenue but that has declined by 6.22%, falling from Rs 43,400 crore in 2020-21 to Rs 40,700 crore in 2021-22. However, advertisement revenue for the sector has increased by 24.7% to Rs 31,300 crore in 2021-22 from Rs 25,100 crore in the previous year.

Viacom18 needs to have a complete relook at the content strategy of Nick HD+ , since last 3 years it has been airing mostly repeated programming barring maybe 1 or 2 fresh ones which too r now being aired all over again. They should make this channel destination for mix of international cartoon + live action shows as Nick has large library of such in house shows and some can even be acquired from 3rd party sourced....if this is not possible then they can even make Nick HD a mirror channel of its SD feed so that atleast kids can watch such content with enhanced audio/video quality . At present Nick HD+ is serving no purpose at all

I know buddy. I am taking about telecast of this league on regional language channels of zee as they hold TV rights to air the same in bhojpuri, Malayalam, kannada, telugu etc.
